This show exhibited PART (1986-87), HEART (1987) and VEHICLE (1987). VEHICLE is a one-man glider encased in lead, which occupied the entire gallery with its fifty foot wing span angled through the columns of the space. The form of the glider has been generalized through insulation into a non-functional vessel of silent flight: a physical image for the mind.
