EVERY BODY, LIEU D’ART ET ACTION CONTEMPORAINE, DUNKIRK, FRANCE, 2016
29 April - 18 September 2016
The exhibition organized at the LAAC in Dunkirk offered a certain view of the place of the body in art and society since 1940. The exhibition explored the various artist approaches to the body through these decades: the desacralization of the model, the artist confronting their own corporeal selves, the body as a tool of production, etc. Gormley's ANOTHER TIME XVIII (2013) and CLENCH (2013) were shown.
