SUMMER EXHIBITION 2011 marked the 245th year of The Royal Academy's annual Summer Exhibition and continued the tradition of showcasing work by both emerging and established artists in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film. Antony Gormley's DRIFT III (2008) was exhibited in the Lecture Room of the Royal Academy of Arts.
