Antony Gormley's ANOTHER TIME (1999) was installed against the 705 metre waterfall in Mardalsfossen, Norway. The exhibition was curated by Be Andr and was sponsored by Nesset Municipality, Nesset Sparebank, Nesset Kraft and Galleri Opdahl Stavanger.
Antony Gormley has said of the installation:
'ANOTHER TIME asks where the human being sits within the scheme of things. The work is designed to be placed within the flow of lived time. It is an attempt to bear witness to what it is like to be alive and alone in space and time, exposed to the elements.'
