ANOTHER PLACE was an installation conceived by Antony Gormley for Wattenmeer, Cuxhaven, in Germany. It was one of a series of projects by British artists in Germany that took place as part of the project 'Follow Me: British Art on the Lower Elbe'. ANOTHER PLACE (1997) has since been installed in Stavanger, Norway (1998), De Panne Beach, Belgium (2003), and has now been permanently sited at Crosby Beach, Merseyside, England, since 2005.
