NEW WORKS featured an installation of CLEARING IV (2005), filling the main gallery with a three-dimensional drawing in space, made up of 5 kilometres of arcing metal rod. He also exhibited a series of free-standing sculptures, including variable 'Blockworks' and CAPACITOR II (2002), a bodywork made of more than 6,000 steel tubes. With this selection of new works for his first exhibition with Sean Kelly Gallery, Gormley extended his interest in the relationship between body, place and space.
