TSWA 3D, CITY WALLS, DERRY, IRELAND, 1987
Twelve artists were commissioned as part of TSWA 3D to create new work for sites across Britain and Northern Ireland. Antony Gormley's SCULPTURE FOR DERRY WALLS (1987), a three-part sculpture, was installed in three particular locations on the Derry Walls: on the east overlooking the Foyle River, over the Bogside by the remains of the Walker Monument, and on the Bastion overlooking the Fountain Estate.
