In order to suggest specific feelings, I needed to break the given dimensions of the body and extend it. FIELD and TREE are an attempt to express reach: FIELD, a yearning for the extension of experience to the horizon and TREE, the need to see beyond it.

Soon after that came HOME AND THE WORLD: an attempt to make physical the distance between reception and source in eating and sleeping and sex.

MIND AND BODY tackles the duality of consciousness and matter, by affixing the second head ear-to-ear with that of the standing bodycase. The heads are cocked as if the contents of one head-case could be transferred to the other.
